pt4me2

pt4me2.org.au is a project of the Metropolitan Transport Forum which represents 19 municipalities across Melbourne on transport issues.

The objective of pt4me2 is to give the community another way to have a say about public transport in Melbourne, including a number of surveys, a YouTube channel, the pt4me2 Blog and Facebook and Myspace pages.

Public Transport Ombudsman (Victoria)

The Public Transport Ombudsman deals with complaints about Victorian public transport that members of the community have been unable to resolve directly with the public transport operators. The Public Transport Ombudsman provides a free and fair service, independent of both public transport operators and the government.

Public Transport Users Association (PTUA)

The PTUA is the recognised consumer organisation representing passengers of all forms of public transport. The PTUA work with governments, public transport authorities and relevant bodies to promote public transport and educate the community about the benefits of sustainable transport policies. The PTUA also undertakes research into transport policies, with the objective of improving services that will make Melbourne and regional Victoria a better place in which to live.

RailMap

RailMap is a web-based geo-spatial information system for land owned and leased by VicTrack.

VicTrack provides access to RailMap for approximately 500 customers and stakeholders, offering maps and aerial photographs of rail tracks and building locations, as well as details of property boundaries, land tenure, leases and other data.

The Public Transport Directory

This directory is designed with both the regular commuter and occasional user in mind. Inside this directory you will find all the urban and country bus and connecting train services through out Victoria.

This directory is designed just like a regular street directory, with detailed maps, a street and facilities index, and all current timetables for each area in the directory. This makes it ideal for the regular commuter and the occasional user. The book is in A5 format for ease of carrying in backpacks, briefcases etc.
