VLGA's Transport Program and Victoria Walks, with assistance from the Victorian Department of Transport, ran the Walking as Transport seminar on Wednesday 21 July 2010.

The workshop provided local government with a strategic view on walking as a transport mode and its place in a sustainable transport network.

Presenters included:

  • Kristie Howes, Urban Designer - Sustainable and Active Transport Policy Branch, DoT
