New Zealand Transport Strategy

In August 2008, the New Zealand government launched a set of defined targets for the transport sector and actions to achieve these targets over the next 30 years. This is the first time specific targets have been set for the whole sector.  The New Zealand government also released the Transport Monitoring Indicator Framework.  The framework will be used to measure progress against the objectives and targets set.  To download the strategy and monitoring framework, visit the website.
