Program Summary

This media release by Knox City Council calls for action by Federal Government to help improve transport for local communities.

Knox has taken the opportunity provided by the upcoming Federal election to advocate for issues that are important to their area, requesting Federal contributions to the projects and plans enacted by the Victorian State Government.

This form of advocacy of local issues is an excellent way to raise awareness of transport issues in State and Federal government, demonstrate local government action on the issues, and attract Federal interest on the issue.
