Knox community consultation for Mountain Gate planning

Program Summary

It is projected that over 1600 new homes will be needed in Ferntree Gully by 2030. Based on this information, Knox City Council is drafting a Mountain Gate Structure Plan – a document that will help guide the future development of the area.

Knox City Council is conducting public consultation on this draft Plan to ensure the needs and interests of the local community are represented. This form of consultation is an excellent way to avoid objections later in the planning process, as well as to highlight potential oversights in the planning.
