Knox Disability Advisory Committee

Program Summary

The current Knox Disability Advisory Committee (KDAC) is about to mark its first 12 months.

Members of KDAC have trained staff and Councillors about access and inclusion issues in the City of Knox. They’ve also given advice in relation to public transport and development of the Eastern Recreation Precinct, as well as helping to deliver the 2003-08 Access and Inclusion Plan. They’ve also played a role in developing the 2011-15 Plan.

This is another example of high-quality community consultation to ensure all needs are met for residents.
